Transferring the Design
When you have decided on a design, you will need to mark it on the quilt. Marking a quilt takes a little time, but the result will be a design that looks exactly the way you want it to. Several methods can be used to mark the quilt.
Pounce Pads
A pounce pad makes marking stencils quick and easy! A pounce pad looks similar to a chalkboard eraser, with loose chalk powder under a cloth-type covering. When the pad is gently brushed over the stencil, the chalk marks the design lines on the quilt. Pounce pads come in white and blue (for white fabrics).
